HILL START ASSIST (HSA)

HSA makes it easy to start off on a steep uphill slope by prevebting the vehicle from rolling backward. When the gradient is detected, it automatically maintains the braking force until the accelerator is applied.

DUAL AIR BAG WITH DRIVER'S KNEE BAG
In the event of an accident, the ASX's dual SRS airbags and driver's knee airbad after protection for both driver and front passenger. Used together eith the 3-point ELR seatbelts, theyprovide an excellent degree of safety.

ABS WITH EBD
EBD electronically adjusts braking force between front and rear axles to help reduce stopping distance, while ABS helps prevent individual wheels from locking up under hard braking.

SEATBELTS WITH PRETENSIONERS AND FORCE LIMITERS
The driver's and front passenger's seatbelts are available with pre-tensioners that reel in to secure the occupant in the initial moments od collision, and force limiters that gentlyrelease the occupant to reduce the risk of injury.

HIGH HIP POINT
Once behind the wheel, you'll find that the ASX gives you a pleasant vantage point from an elevated seat position. Combined with the sloping hood design, this gives a better view of the road for easier manoeuvering and greater safety. The raised hip point also makes getting in and out of the vehicle easier, and makes long journeys more comfortable.

60:40 SPLIT FOLDABLE REAR SEATBACK
